Introduce yourself – who you are, what you do, and where you are.
I am a Senior Lecturer at University of West London since June 2002. My research interest has long been in Teaching and Learning and want to use this experience to apply it in educating prospective nursing students about the Professional Identity of Nursing. As such I am looking at applying educational principles of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) for my Doctorate in Education that I started in 2019 at Open University.

Nursing experience in Mauritius:
Before coming to UK in 2000, I was a nurse in Mauritius since 1982. I studied nursing in Mauritius from 1979 to 1082 and completed my post basic BSc Nursing from Gujarat University in 1993. Then I came to UK in 2000 and completed a MSc Nursing from Napier University in 2001.
