I had a very productive meeting with the head of the student nurse recruitment. This was an opportunity for me to discuss my research with her. Furthermore I was able to obtain all the important information regarding the current recruitment strategy. It was not a surprise to note that recruitment is targeted using business case rather than professional identity of a nurse. This will help me go back to literature and examine the issue to find the gap in practice.
